Our Story
How It All Began
In 2019, after witnessing the barriers women faced in completing their pilgrimage, Rihlatul Umr was officially registered as a non-profit organization. From its inception, the initiative has operated entirely through volunteers guided by compassion, faith, and a shared commitment to helping women realize their dreams of Hajj. The founding team recognized that while spiritual readiness is vital, financial and logistical challenges often prevent deserving women from embarking on this sacred journey — and they set out to change that.
